Argolis Tour

This private tour gives you the chance to not only discover Mycenae, one of the major centres of Ancient Greek civilization, but also visit Naflplio, the first capital of modern Greece.

Picking you up from a location of you choice, our first stop in this tour is Isthmus of Corinth, a very narrow piece of land that serves as a bridge connecting Peloponnesos to the Greek mainland. You can choose to watch little boats and ships crossing the very short water path from up high or even enjoy a coffee fom down low. The Archaeological Museum of Ancient Corinth, located just 10 minutes away, comes next - featuring exhibits going all the way back to the prehistoric age and dating up to the Byzantine Period. Acrocorinthos is the last stop of this part of the tour: a monolithic rock overseeing the ancient city of Corinth and the location that was used by Ancient Greeks - including Macedonians, Byzantines, Ottomans and even Ventians as a stronghold against invaders.

After you have recharged from the first part of our trip, the archaeological site of Mycenae is next giving you the chance to witness what's left from one of the most significant ancient Greek centres. Epidaurus, home of one of the most significant theatres of ancient and modern history, is the last stop of the first part of the Argolis private tour. The second part of this tour has Nafplio, modern Greece's first capital, as the first stop. The land in which Greece's first governor, Ioannis Kapodistrias, arrived on January 7th, 1828, offers a wide range of choices for things to do: you can either stroll through the city's oldest part, Acronauplia, admire the views in the port or enjoy some of the fodd that it has to offer. The tour concludes at Palamidi, a fortrress that will reward you with astonishing picturesque views if you are committed enough to walk on the 913 steps to reach it and on the over 1000 to make it to the top!

As with every one of our tours, timings are not strict and we will be more than happy to accommodate any kind of special request to satisfy your needs so don't hesitate to get in touch with us or book now!
